Oh and the whole "We're BFFLS" (Best Friends For Life Suckers) is not a mutually exclusive deal. You can call someone your BFFLS but you might not be their BFFS.

The truth.
The horrible truth about best friends are that they might not be the happiness parade you've expected. They, very literally, are just the few people among the whole bunch of people are better than the rest. Unfortunately, this whole, "better than the rest" deal only works if you have pretty good friends already.
